Board of Directors

Do you want to make a real difference to our NYC community in 2025 and beyond? Help us make Off Broadway theatre accessible for ALL New Yorkers! We are seeking motivated, passionate people to join NY Classical’s Board of Directors. Whether your love classic playwrights such as Shakespeare, or want to help redefine what it means to be a “classic” through our New Visions program, we want to hear from you. Actors

The best way for us to get to know your work is to join us for an EPA (Equity Principal Audition). We hold these open auditions prior to each production. They are advertised on the AEA and major trade websites.

We take these auditions seriously and Artistic Director, Stephen Burdman, and our casting liaison attends each EPA in person.

While we are always open to seeing EMC and non-AEA actors, all EPA rules & procedures are set by AEA. If you have questions about an EPA, please click here.
